Delete your LumiSoft Account
Applies to the LumiNotes and LumiDevotional apps by LumiSoft LLC, and to your LumiSoft Account used across LumiSoft apps.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app
- Open the LumiNotes app and sign in.
- On the main Folders screen, tap the account button to open LumiSoft Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete.
Your account is deleted immediately.
LumiDevotional: open the app and sign in, go to the Profile tab, tap Delete account and confirm. If you are the administrator of a group that still has other members, transfer or remove them first; groups you administer are deleted together with your account.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer open the app, email us from the address registered on your account at info@lumisoftdigital.com with the subject “Delete my LumiSoft Account”. We will delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your LumiSoft Account (email address and sign-in details), which is shared across LumiSoft apps.
- Your notes and folders synced to the cloud.
- Your profile photo, preferences, reading history and journal entries in other LumiSoft apps.
- Your license and device records, if any.
- In LumiDevotional: your account, profile, photo, diary, favorites, reading progress and the groups you administer
What is kept
- Notes stored only on your device remain there. Delete the app or its data to remove them.
- Records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase and tax records, are retained only as long as the law requires.
Important: subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it first, or after, in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions (Android) or Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions (iPhone). If your account has an active LumiSoft license, manage it at conta.lumisoftdigital.com before deleting.
